It is said that since the time of St. Dominic, the Blessed Mother with the baby Jesus had imparted to him the modern-day Rosary to be spread and used to preach the life of Christ. Indeed, it has been used over the centuries. And now, the Lay Dominicans, Denver Chapter is continuing that tradition with the creation of a “traveling” Virgin Mary through the Dominican Apostolate of the Rosary to promote the devotion to the Blessed Mother and St. Dominic.
How it Works On a selected Sunday of your choice, the ambassadors of the Dominican Apostolate of the Rosary will bring the statue of the Virgin Mary to your home. The Rosary is prayed along with the Dominican Litany. The statue is left with the family to pray everyday for one week. That following Saturday, the ambassadors return to pray the Holy Rosary one last time before retrieving the statue and moving on to the next household.
